Abstract

This research aims to determine the development, effectiveness and response of students to the pop up fairy tale book "Si Kancil" in improving the honest character of grade 2 elementary school students. With research and development, the research subjects involved were class 2 students at SD N 3 Bantul, including 23 class 2A students and 22 class 2B students. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires/questions and tests. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Paired Samples T-test by calculating the resulting instrument data and using a questionnaire. The research results showed that after being given treatment using the Pop-Up Book, the number of respondents was 23 people with an average percentage of 90% in the good category. Thus, the Pop-Up Book media has a significant influence on students' honest character, which was initially 67%, increasing to 90%.
