Abstract

This research aims to describe the differences in learning achievement of students who use interactive media and image media in terms of learning achievement, determine the effectiveness of interactive media in terms of learning achievement, and describe the responses of students who use interactive media in terms of student response questionnaires. This research is experimental research with research variables consisting of the independent variable, namely the use of interactive media and related variables, namely science learning achievement for class V SD N 1 Kadipiro. The population of this study was all fifth grade students at SD N 1 Kadipiro, totaling 56 students. The instrument for measuring learning achievement uses a pretest and posttest in the form of an objective test. The data analysis technique uses the t-test, the homogeneity and normality of which have previously been determined. The research results showed that the average posttest score for the control group was 84.79 while the experimental group was 90.07, so it can be concluded that interactive media is effectively used in learning. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in terms of science learning achievement. Then, based on the results of the experimental class students' responses, the total number was 512 with a maximum number of 560, namely 91%. So it can be concluded that interactive media is good and suitable for use for science learning.
