Penguatan Kemampuan Guru dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi Siswa di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Muslimin Kayangan

Abstract
Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan guru-guru di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Muslimin Kayangan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Pengabdian ini dilakukan karena para guru menghadapi banyak kendala saat menerapkan HOTS. Kurangnya kesadaran akan HOTS dan praktiknya berkontribusi pada rendahnya prestasi siswa. Kegiatan ini menggunakan lokakarya untuk menciptakan HOTS dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran baru seperti Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) dan Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Kontekstual. Pemikiran tingkat tinggi telah didorong oleh klasifikasi hasil belajar dalam pelatihan. Pelatihan ini meningkatkan motivasi siswa, meningkatkan pemahaman ide, dan mendorong tugas-tugas berpikir tingkat tinggi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menekankan perlunya HOTS dalam pembelajaran untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi masalah di dunia nyata. Studi ini juga menyarankan penggunaan teknik pembelajaran unik lainnya untuk mendorong keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Di sekolah-sekolah Islam, dukungan guru dan lingkungan belajar yang lebih besar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa.
